Real-time Performance Management (RPM) is a management practice that measures performance in real-time. These measures are used to adjust targets to exploit current market conditions and improve business agility.
Managing a modern organization is complex. To succeed, Clevel(CXO) executives must identify the best strategies for their companies and create performance measures that will drive the organization forward. A company’s management system plays a critical role in communication, establishing the values of the organization, and aligning diverse units, employees and constituencies. Often, people have fixed annual goals based on old standards that are unresponsive to changing market conditions. Guidelines set by a static planning process severely limit performance. But how does one optimize corporate performance?
